Lampada

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Lampada app ("Lampada", "we", "us") handles, and what it does not. Lampada shows a daily Bible verse on your Lock Screen, Home Screen, StandBy and Control Centre, and — if you switch it on — before you open a social app.

Short version. There is no account and no sign-up. The app works fully offline: the verses ship inside it. Your themes, colours, fonts and other choices never leave your device. The only thing that reaches a server is your subscription purchase, handled by Apple and RevenueCat. There is no advertising, no analytics SDK, and no tracking of any kind.

1. Who is responsible

The developer of Lampada is the data controller for anything described here. For any privacy question or request, write to help@pmoffice.space.

2. What stays on your device

Everything you configure in the app is stored locally, in the app's own storage on your iPhone, and is shared only with Lampada's own widget so it can draw the same verse:

None of this is sent anywhere. We cannot see it. Delete the app and it is gone with it.

3. What leaves your device

Only your purchase. Lampada offers an optional subscription, Lampada Pro. Payment is handled by Apple; we never see your card, name or email. To know whether your subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription infrastructure provider.

4. What we do not do

5. Scripture text

The verses and the short context lines are bundled with the app and read offline. The Bible editions used — the World English Bible, Luther 1912, Louis Segond 1910, Reina-Valera and the Russian Synodal translation — are in the public domain.

6. The pause before the feed

This feature is optional and off until you set it up yourself in Apple's Shortcuts app. When it runs, Shortcuts tells Lampada which app you were opening so that the "Continue" button can take you back there. That happens entirely on your device. Lampada does not record which apps you open, how often, or for how long, and nothing about it is sent anywhere.

7. Children

Lampada is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information at all.

8. Your rights

Because the app holds no personal data about you on our side, there is nothing for us to export or erase on request. Your local settings are removed when you delete the app. Purchase records held by Apple and RevenueCat are governed by their own policies; write to help@pmoffice.space and we will help with any request we can act on.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
