This Privacy Policy explains how Astonio Ltd ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information in the mobile application Sleep History: Lorica Tales (referred to inside the app as Lorica), published by Astonio Ltd on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and on the related website at lorica.astrips.com.
Lorica has no sign-up, no login and no user accounts. We do not ask for, and the app does not collect, your name, postal address, phone number, photos, contacts, calendar, microphone input or precise location.
An email address is collected in one case only: if you buy a subscription on our website, the payment page operated by RevenueCat and Stripe asks for your email so the receipt and the activation link can be sent to you. That address is handled by those providers and is not stored by the app.
| Data | What it is | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Device identifier | A random identifier generated on your device when the app first starts. It is not derived from your identity and does not leave your device except as described below. | To keep analytics consistent between sessions and to link a purchase to the correct subscription. |
| Advertising identifier | The advertising ID provided by your operating system (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android). | To measure which advertising campaign led to an install or a purchase. |
| App activity | Which screens you open, which stories you play, whether the paywall was shown, and similar in-app events. | To understand how the app is used and to improve it. |
| Purchase history | Which subscription or one-time purchase was made, when it renews, and whether a trial was used. Card details are never seen by us. | To grant and maintain access to paid content, and to measure advertising. |
| Technical data | Device platform, app version, and the country setting of your device. | To operate the app and to analyse usage by region and version. |
| Push token | An anonymous token issued by the push service if you allow notifications. | To send notifications about new stories. It contains no personal information. |
The app does not collect crash logs or diagnostic reports, and it does not use location services.
Lorica uses the advertising identifier so that we can tell which of our own advertisements brought a person to the app. This is the only reason it is used. Lorica does not display third-party advertising.
On iOS 14.5 and later the app asks for your permission before the advertising identifier is used, through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, the identifier is not used and we simply do not learn which advertisement you came from; nothing else about the app changes.
On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Settings → Google → Ads.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with data brokers. Data is shared only with the service providers that make the app work:
Lorica is intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Analytics and purchase records are kept only as long as needed to operate the app, meet legal and accounting obligations and resolve disputes.
Because the app has no accounts, most data can be removed by you directly: deleting the app removes the identifier stored on your device, and resetting your advertising ID in system settings breaks the link to past advertising measurement. To request deletion of anything held on our side, write to help@pmoffice.space and we will act on it within 30 days.
All communication between the app and our providers uses encrypted connections. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, though no internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy. Any change will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and material changes will be announced in the app.
